and small serving bowls. Recently many people have become interested in tea

| I make porcelain tea bowls for every day use. The process of making an individual tea bowl always leads me to a place of sensitivity to and appreciation for their simplicity of form. They are always a joy to throw and while throwing, I hold in mind the sacredness of their function. As an informally trained American potter, I make no attempt at cultural appropriation. While there are stylistic similarities, these tea bowls are not intended to represent classic Asian forms. |
