This is the name of the I Ching hexagram, Hsiao Ch'u, the Taming Power of the Small. Gentle, wind lies above. Creative, Heaven lies below. This is associated with the times in life when an individual can have no great effect in the outer world and so, can do nothing except refine the expression of her nature in small ways. As an oracle (source of wisdom or inspiration) the I Ching can help one to better understand the hidden/deeper meanings of internal and external events or phenomena. Other oracles that I have enjoyed working with include the Celtic "Book of Runes" and the Native American "Animal Medicine Cards."
