Visions of American Cornerstones Home business, MLM, and Network Marketing opportunities are popping up online like weeds in my yard each spring. One dies and two more pop up in its place. To the average person (like myself), looking for reasonable additional income, it is a very confusing place we have created here in cyberspace. It is filled with scam artists and thieves in the night. Yet after 18 months of running an Online MLM directory, downline club, business newsletter and more online, I thought I had the perfect program. Ground floor, great products, and all the hype! After a year, the company president even rewarded me with a salaried position of Vice President, with the company. I had developed a downline in 6 different countries, 4 levels deep. I did this the old fashion way--hard work. Unfortunately, this opportunity did not deliver the goods. After taking the products for months, I did not see any positive results, and was tired of taking 10-15 pills per day. I also found that the pay plan only benefited the heavy hitters. Sure the money was good for me, and I was doing well, but slowly losing my group due to poor duplication. Without duplication there was no hope of true residual income. I also was not able to retail the products, therefore, I was the only consumer- and a dissatisfied one at that. After 14 months, I decided I was kidding myself. I did not have the "Dream Program". I had a dream . . .period. A non duplicatible dream at that. I realized that I was going about business all wrong. A light bulb went off!! You don't try to like a company's products because you love their pay plan, your sponsor, the ground floor opportunity, or the web site. You fall in love with a company that has great products !!! You have to believe in what you find. Your company testimonials need to start with your own !! You need to realize that if your product or business is to succeed, you must have passion about the products !! I searched high and low until I found mine. It had been in front of me all along. Through trial and error, I found my way back to it. Although I have been involved with dozens of businesses online and offline, I had never really loved the products. I had never found a program that really allowed me to help others improve their health and well being. I had never found my dream. The company I found, improved my health, my parents health, and the health of many of my friends. As a result I have now been more successful with my new "Dream" products than ever before. I now have more fun doing what I am doing. It is no longer work. It is my passion, my hobby. It has made me very happy. Making money became secondary after receiving phone call after phone call from people that were having positive results, and improving their quality of life. As a result, I made up some guidelines that would have helped me to find my "Dream Products and my Dream Business". Maybe they can help you. 1. Does the company have a reliable background. Has it been around over 18 months. (Find out about the company.) Debt free, sound financial backing, etc. 2. Are samples of the products available for you to try ? 3. Is there a money back guarantee ? 4. Does the company have a pay plan that is designed for the "little guy" to succeed. Example-over 30% payout in the top level or two. 5. Is the retention rate over 50% ? 6. Is the pay plan unilevel--every long term company I know of is. 7. Is it easily duplicated ? 8. Are the products affordably priced so you can realistically retail with at least a 20% profit. 9. Is it affordable to join ? Less than $50.00 is fair enough that everyone can afford. 10. BOTTOM LINE . . .Do you really like the products enough that if they were in the store, you would buy them. I hope this helps in your business ventures. Find the products that you love. Then you will love what you do. You will have fun. Success will follow!! Thanks, and have a healthy week !! Ken Lund, Founder & President
