Mistakes


	Frequently there are times when right as the shutter fires, you cringe and think, is that one going to suck." It may be tripod movement, if may be forgotten EV settings, or it may be simply a little voice saying, "Why do you bother?" But then something shows up on your lightbox and you think...hmmmmm...that wasn't so bad.



	The water looked blue, the trees were interesting, and then...BAM..horizontal blur from puppy tail.


		Waking up after Dave Mathews, I saw this shot as I crawled outside the tent. At first I was bummed at the lens flare, but then I noticed that it added something.


		After 14 shots I realized I was 1.3 stops underexposed on everything.



		I was certain I could hold the camera still in my kayak, but then came a gust of wind. The boat is in focus, but the rest became a motion blur.


	There are water streaks (?) or droplets flying around this one.

When I look at my photographs I think, cool, that's way out of focus; or, wow, there's too much light on that guy. I could care less about making the world pretty.
