Writing is an integral part of the first grade curriculum
and a great source of excitement to beginning learners. In order
to give these young authors motivation to write, they are given the opportunity
to publish stories. We go through the process of selecting a topic,
writing a rough draft, editing the work, publishing the story on the computer
and finally, illustrating the finished product. After all of this
hard work, we like to have our parents in to listen to the stories at our
Authors' Party. |
