Performance
- A high-energy, 14% protein feed specifically
designed with the vigorous, high performance horse in mind.
This feed, when fed with the proper type and amount of roughage,
will help meet your horse's nutrient requirements and give your
horse that "winner's edge" even under the most strenuous
activity levels.

Special
- A medium-energy, 12% protein feed that
is formulated to be fed along with roughage to help meet your
horse's nutrient requirements for most activity levels. All necessary
vitamins and minerals, including selenium are contained in Special
Horse.

Complete
- A medium-energy, 11% protein ration formulated
to contain the roughages, grains, vitamins and minerals that horses
require. This feed eliminates the need to handle and store bulky
forages, making it especially desirable when feeds must be transported,
such as on trail rides. Horses with heaves, allergies, or other
respiratory problems do well on Complete Horse feed as its pelleted
form virtually eliminates hay dust, an irritant to a horse's respiratory
system.
- This feed has been Certified Noxious
Weed Free by the Washington and Oregon State Seed Labs.

Mare and Foal
- This High-energy, 16% protein ration feed is specifically designed
to provide the proper balance of vitamins, minerals, energy and
protein, including the amino acid Lysine - a key protein building
block essential to the nutrition of a growing foal. Mare and Foal
provides the nutrients necessary to promote healthy growth, sound
bone structure and proper muscle development during a growing
foal's first year. In addition, this ration provides the mare
with the essential nutrients required for proper fetal development
during the last trimester of gestation, maximum milk production,
and proper reproductive performance during the stressful periods
when her nutritional requirements are increased.

A 12% protein complete ration, formulated especially
for older horses and hard keepers. This feed contains the roughage,
grains, vitamins and minerals that senior horses require. Complete
Senior Horse provides sound nutrition based on the unique needs,
and special nutrient and dietary requirements of the senior
horse. Features include high-fat rice bran, live yeast culture,
beet pulp and apple nectar flavor. Complete Senior Horse, combined
with proper health care, will help older horses age gracefully.

PRACTICAL FEEDING
Establish a feeding program for your horse based on sound nutrition.
Do not over-supplement. Use the following guide to help ensure your horse
is properly cared for:
- Observe your horse closely.
- Know the weight and age of your horse.
- Maintain a regular feeding time.
- It is better to feed smaller amounts 2 to 4 times a day that one big
feeding.
- Feed each horse individually, according to their specific needs. Adjust
the amount of grain fed dependent upon the work, performance and body
conditions.
- Any changes in your house's diet should be sone gradually over a 5-7
day period.
- Never feed moldy, dusty, or dirty hay or feed.
- Clean the manger, grain box and water equipment regularly.
- Horses should not be fed on the ground as this increases their exposure
to parasites.
- Before working your horse, allow it time to digest its meal.
- Provide clean, fresh water and free choice salt.
- Hot houses should not be fed grain or allowed free choice water.
- Be sure your house periodically for internal and external parasites
to improve condition, and reduce colic and health problems.
- Provide adequate exercise for your animal.
- Weigh feed in your feeding container so you know exactly how much
feed you are providing your horse.
- Feed your horse according to body weight and activity level, as indicated
on the feed tag.
