Animated Snowmobile

Living where I do, a person has to like snow, and I do. Snowmobiling on my Arctic Cat Cougar is one of my outdoor activities. Here is a site called The Flathead - Snowmobiling, which will tell you a bit about some fo the areas I ride. Of course most of them aren't on there.......don't always take those groomed trails!!! ;-)
Another place for Montana snowmobile info is Snowmobiling (MT Area Reference Guide). A couple of places to check out:
Animated Snowmobile

Amlo Enterprises- They have snowmobile trim for all sleds. Check it out!! It's nice to have colored accessories to customize your sled!
Off-Road.Com's Snowmobile Section- There is great info here on all sorts of things having to do with sleds. It's run by real people, who are out riding, and do testing and *real* reviews on products they use. This is a well run site, and you can pick up tips, knowledge, etc. from this place. It's worth your time to visit it!!
The Snowmobile Homepage, a very informative site. Visit Race & Rally(for you race fans). American Snowmobiler is a good place to check out. Also take a look at SnoWest Magazine and Snow Action Racing News.
Snowmobiling ONLINE, a big site with links to almost everything to do with sleds!!

SCOTT'S HOME PAGE is a site to see a real sled at work!! (Oh.....it's not quite working in the photo.......he has a little problem with it!!!!! What happened Scotty??? ;-) See it for yourself!!!. Looks like it's working ok in these other photos. Check out Scott's new updated site!!!!!!

Just one of Montana's beautiful wintertime views!! (1997)

Here is a picture of me with my sled (before I had some custom painting on the hood with her name) when I was in West Yellowstone. A great place to go for a winter vacation!!

The picture on the left is just off into the woods while on a sledding trip. The picture on the right is from a mountain top, looking down into the reservoir below, and mountains beyond. Nothing like being outdoors on a machine, and seeing sites that you would never see otherwise!!

On the left is a beautiful Montana sunset on a cloudy evening. To the right is the trail ahead on a snowmobile trip. Great snow here in Montana, and it is the most beautiful place there is (IMHO)!!! It is Heaven here!!

Here are a couple of pic's of my "Lil Buddy" on his sled!!

Here are some more views I captured while out sledding! While riding with the group, I often "disappear". They've learned now to just wait a few minutes before getting worried, as I'm always stopping to take pictures!!

The picture on the left is on top of Big Mountain, just before the Summit House. The one on the right is of me sitting on my sled (first ride out with a long track underneath) in the same area. (February 1997)

This picture on the left was taken after I had been out mudbogging! I was just getting ready to wash "The Toy". It took me quite awhile to wash off this mess, but I had fun putting it there!!! The picture on the right was after I finished much later.........it was a long messy job!!

Well the The Toy had an untimely death a couple of years ago. After rolling 3 times, this is what was left, as well as the picture from the paper (I drove up to see this as I was on ambulance call that day, not a pretty site!! That's me standing and watching as my son is being taken care of.

In the summer, I enjoy taking walks, camping, laying in the sun ( a favorite thing for me to do), and spending time at water. My favorite drink when I am very thirsty is Gatorade(especially the Cool Blue Raspberry). Montana is a beautiful place and it has lots to see. If you like the outdoors, here is a place you may like to visit called
Outside Online.

There will be more to come later! This site updated on 9/24/99.

Counter added on 1/15/97
