Wolves At Our Door
Teacher Resources

Planning

If you live in MT, WY, ID, or WA you can send for a Wolf Trunk that is available from the National Wildlife Federation. The trunk contains wolf artifacts, posters, teaching materials and videos.

If you don't live in those states or can't get a Wolf Trunk, try to locate three videos about wolves. One of the videos should be the National Geographic Video, White Wolf. It is available in many public libraries.

Go to the libraries and obtain copies of as many books on wolves as you can. Have them available in your classroom for students to use.

Internet Searches

I would recommend that if students are going to be using the internet to search for information that they use Yahooligans search engine. Yahooligans is   "Child Friendly". Its links are appropriate for children.
