IN GOD WE TRUST

Hmmmm... What to say,.. I remember the day when this Top -selling record hit the shelves at Pegasus Records where I worked. I was sooo pumped to hear the rest of the songs , as I had already heard the single for Always There For You. I remember recording it off the radio and listening to it over and over again.

I would have to say that the main thing I liked about this album was the incredible vocal production and power hooks from the intro of IGWT and throughout the rest of the songs such as Always There for You, Keep the Fire Burning, The world of You and I, and Come to the Everlife. Not to mention It's Up 2 U which reminisces back to the Sing-Along Song on To Hell... There are the headbanging songs with tight guitars like The Writings on the Wall, and The Reign, and then the icing on the cake, the ballads I Believe in You and Lonely.

All in all a much mellower, commercial record. But this was what I needed at the time. I personally loved it. I love vocal harmonies and harmonizing guitars. This album demonstrates these to the hilt.

In God We Trust was a great top selling LP. I wish Tim would have played on this one also. I'd Love to hear your comments on this CD. If you send them I will post them on this sight.E-Mail Me!
