Welcome to the Featured Album of the 97-98 Winter issue.

Every issue, or as often as I feel like, there will be a featured selection from the discography. Here you will read Mr. STRYPER's opinions as he rambles on and on about nothing. HEEEEE.

TO HELL WITH THE DEVIL

O.K. It was a dark night, Oct 31, 1986. I climbed into my green pinto and loaded up the steamy-hot pizzas to be delivered throughout the city of Idaho Falls. I was a senior in Highschool just at the peak of my stryper-lesence.

I put in the tape only to be freaked by the haunting intro of "ABYSS". Wow it sounded like hell (literally). Not prepared for what was to come, in pounded the title cut "To Hell With the Devil". Michael's voice must have matured or something, but hello vibrato!! I must say this album is one of my faves. It's so huge, especially THWTD, Free, The Way, Sing-Along-Song, Rockin the World, and More Than a Man. I know I skipped a couple. Calling on You is a bit commercial, but still great. Honestly was sung at my wedding along with other Stryper Hits. Holding on has great vocal harmonies, All of Me,,,... well no comment, sorry.

All in all a great top selling LP. I wish Tim would have played on it though. I'd Love to hear your comments on this CD. If you send them I will post them on this sight.E-Mail Me!
