Internet Yarn Shopping-- I do a lot of shopping on the Internet.   I'm all for supporting local businesses, but let's face it -- I have two kids.  I hate driving 20 miles into town and hauling my kids to four or five different stores in search of something, only to be told by each one that they don't carry it but would be happy to order it.   The Internet has made my life a whole lot easier.  These are some of my favorite places for buying yarn and fiber supplies:

Red Meadow Fiber Arts -- This *is* a local business, located here in the Flathead Valley of Montana.   I support them via the Internet!  :-))

Countrywool -- If you need a particular book or yarn, Claudia probably has it.  No online ordering just yet, but don't let that stop you from shopping with her.  She's very responsive!

Elann -- An online store which carries odd lots and discontinued colors.  There are some great bargains if you don't mind using last season's colors.

The Needle Emporium -- A store in Ontario, Canada.  I've picked up some great bargains on yarn from them.

Paradise Fibers -- Kate has a terrific selection of spinning fibers, yarns, and fleeces.  Don't forget to check out the Bargain Box!

The Mannings Handweaving Studio -- WOW!  Their catalog has everything!

G Street Fabrics -- the ultimate fabricholic's website.  If you can't visit them in person, this is the next best thing.

Phoenix Textiles -- Great fabric mills ends and terrific prices.  I buy Pendleton wools here.
