        My name is Judy Niemeyer and you have stumbled onto my homepage. I am currently trying to display a few of my quilts  in my own  Judy's Personal Quilt Gallery so as time goes on I hope to have more and more completed. I have hand quilted  approximately 400 full size quilts and lots of baby quilts and wall hangings. I have machine quilted a few quilts but I prefer hand quilting. The quilts currently in the gallery are digital photographs of older photos, so please excuse the somewhat unclear representation.
        I used to be able to spend 12 to 16 hours a day quilting but as my babys grew up and went to school, I felt a need to go to work. I am currently employed at the  Quilt Gallery  in Kalispell, Montana. Through my association at the quilt shop I am able to get in on the purchase and sale of the latest of the latest and also be part of the finest of the finest. I  teach regularly, both at the store and for hire, with my classes ranging from basic quilting and piecing to the latest patterns, tools, and techniques. Our store tries to keep up on the latest patterns and we spend a fair amount of time putting together items to show.
     With the help of my son, I put all my ability together and created a pattern called  The Wedding Star . This was a family project in a way and I am pleased with the outcome. You can check out my pattern on my commercial page.
