Who was he?... who is he?... and how important is OUR ANSWER?
Some say he was a prophet, a very wise man. Some say He was a man who became a god, as we too can become. Some say he was just a man and nothing more, or even that he never really existed at all, but was merely a part of a great hoax to control the masses. Some go as far as to acknowledge him as "the son of God", but by no means equal to or God himself. However, there are those of us who whole heartedly exclaim
"Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God" (Mat.
16:16) and
"my Lord and my God!"
(John
20:28)
Our eternal destiny depends on who we believe Christ Jesus to be and how we respond to His words "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6)
It is easy to merely explain away these words found in Scriptures or even discredit the entire Holy Bible itself claiming it is just another book, not to be taken as entirely truthful and historically accurate. If we are correct in that view and do not adhere to what is found in it's contents, we have nothing to fear. However, if our view is in error and the Holy Bible does indeed contain the true revelations of God Himself and that Christ Jesus is indeed who He Says he was, "The Way", then not adhering to these truths will lead one to a destination of such eternal pain and torment, one can not even imagine.
With the final destination of our souls at stake, these questions become truly THE most important ones we will ever seek answers to. May the contents found in the buttons on the left be of assistance in that search.
