Dear Greg;

I'm sorry to hear about your uncle's condition and the difficult time you and your family are going through.  Difficult times and tragedies seem to be the greatest tests of ones faith... "How can a loving God allow such things to happen??" many people shout in hurt, anger, and pain.

I am also so sorry that I don't know how to comfort you.  I imagine this does not mean a great deal to you at this point in time, but please know that myself, my family, my friends, my church family, and believers from all over the world who have visited my web site have already been earnestly praying for both you and your uncle.

You see, I have taken all the correspondence between you and I and have created another section on my web site and placed the letters there for all visitors to read and discuss.  I made sure to not include you or Randy's last name in any of the letters, so as to protect your privacy.

I hope you do not mind that I did this, but I did not think you would.  Let me know if it does.  Also, if you are interested in placing the letters on your own site and you have not been saving them, I would be glad to send them to you.

We will continue praying for you and Randy even more so, now knowing some of the circumstances you both are facing.  Thank you for sharing it with us.  Take all the time you want in answering these letters, I most certainly understand.  I would very much like to continue hearing from you during these trying times as well, however.... just to try and be as supportive as I can.... if you would like to write me that is.

God does truly love you, Greg... and Randy too.

Friends...?...
