Hello Greg;
Thank you for responding to my letter. Before we go any further however, I'd like to understand... Who is Randy H.?.... I've been a bit confused because your e mail is randy and I was under the impression the the web site that was sent to me was made by Randy.
Who's Randy??:-)
Anyways, to respond to your letter I must begin with.... WOW! I confess I do feel a bit intimidated and inferior already! But even though I agree you may indeed have a more superior intellect than I (as you'll probably begin seeing even more clearly as we correspond - lol), please do not neatly assume that all believers in our Lord Jesus and God the Father are as dim witted as I may appear to be. To just name a few Historical figures who were devout believers of God:
And here are even a few modern day believers I believe merit at least some intellectual respect:
I share this not that I expect you to agree with all their views (I myself don't agree with a couple), but to point out that not all believers in God and Jesus Christ appear to be, at least from my vantage point, intellectually inferior. I'm well aware there are also countless highly intelligent men who were atheists so there is no need to list them.
A second area I feel a need to understand better before we continue is our motives for corresponding with one another. The purpose of my web site and my wishing to continue corresponding with you is basically summed up in Scriptures 1Peter 3:15 and Mark 16:15-16. I am curious as to why you chose to send me your site and correspond with me?
Finally, some "ground rules" I would appreciate us agreeing upon. No biting, kicking, scratching, ... oops, just kidding! Seriously, I feel it would be less confusing and more beneficial if we agree to stick to one topic or so one at a time instead of jumping around... how does that sound? Also I feel that any question(s) either one of us writes deserves a thoughtful response, would you agree? Are there any other "ground rules" you think would be helpful?
Well, I guess that's about it for now.... So, how do you want to begin? I believe I'm O.K. with wherever you want start. I imagine the question I'm most led to ask is: Who do you think Jesus Christ was/is?
Look forward to hearing from you Greg/Randy.
