Hello Derek & Karen,

I've recently had a change of heart about things....

My cousin David pointed out that I was "getting beat" in our "great debate".  This caused me to do a lot of thinking about things...the things you've said in your letters to me...about Jesus and the Bible.  I realized that you are telling the Truth!

Yes, that's right.  I now believe that the Holy Bible is the True and Infallible word of Almighty God... and I've re-accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal savior.  And now that I've allowed the Holy Ghost to come inside me and fill my heart, I can see just how mistaken I was about God and the Bible.  Now everything is making sense to me.  It's so simple...I was seeing through the world's eyes instead of allowing the Holy Ghost to guide my understanding.

Your email letters must have been God's way of reaching my lost soul.  Who says there's no such thing as miracles! Changing my mind was a miraculous feat indeed!  God bless you Derek Dalton, God bless you!

All of those things that used to seem so impossible to me are now as real to me as the nose on my face... the creation of the firmament.... the creation of light, and later the creation of the sun.... the making of woman from a man's rib... a talking snake... the parting of the red sea... the great world flood, which must have been caused by God's hand since it would be completely impossible by the laws of nature... the fact that there are indeed giants walking to and fro deep inside the earth... the fact that there is a firey Hell deep in the ground, from which that fallen angel Satan conspires to corrupt every human deed... not to mention all of the Demons set loose by Satan with the purpose of tormenting true believers with afflictions that modern medicine foolishly attributes to natural causes... and of course I know now for certain that there is a Heaven above, just a little ways out of sight of the human eye, which is so close to the ground that men of the Old Testament could hear Almighty God when he shouted down at them and also so low that the tower of Babel would have reached directly into the gold-paved streets of Heaven if not for Divine intervention... and that Angels go about the earth doing God's dirty-work, such as spreading deadly plagues, causing natural disasters, and impregnating unsuspecting women... I truly believe that the baby Jesus was born of a virgin, truly an immaculate conception... and that Jesus could do miraculous things like walking on water, healing the sick by driving out their demons, the cause of all disease, converting water into wine instantly, raising the dead, predicting the future accurately, and most amazing of all, Himself being dead and then coming back to life!  Now that I'm full of the Holy Ghost I even believe those seemingly ridiculous things that Jesus said would follow them that believe... that they shall cast out demons, handle snakes safely, speak in tongues, and heal the sick.  Yes, I do believe that whatsoever I shall ask in prayer, I shall receive.  I know that the Lord is watching over me and protecting me from harm.  I know that God hears all of my prayers, he hears every thought that occurs within my mind. The Holy Ghost is helping me to hate my family members, just as Jesus requires, so that I can follow him... and when I hear of someone who worships another god, a false god, I immediately get the urge to kill them violently, as God has instructed us to do... in fact, Derek, I decided not to take my Uncle Randolph to any more medical doctors, who are of course practicing worldly sorcery, which is clearly of the Devil, and instead I shall do as Our Lord Jesus Christ has instructed and shall annoint him with oil and lay my hands upon him and shall command the demons which are in his body, causing his cancer, to leave out from him and go back to Hell from which they came!

I know that I can heal him because You and your readers are praying for him to recover, so how can God possibly ignore our cries for help?
