Deb's Original Imitation Anime Art

Hey everyone! I wasn't interested in anime until very recently (3-16-99 to be exact) so I tried to draw some of my own. I don't know how good they are- I'll let you critique them. Here's a few of my characters that I drew.

This is Ameisha. Ameisha is, supposedly, the character that I use on the RPGs on the Internet. She was named after my the nickname my best friend Leann gave to her cat, whose name is Amy. But Ameisha is a tomboyish girl, although her clothes don't show it. She is trying to find a home after her father is hung, her mother dies and her sister falls into a waterfall during their journey and disappears.

This is Riana, a lover of war. She is constantly getting into fights with others and takes many things offensively. Although Riana seems tough and likes to act it too, she has a soft side and loves working with animals. Riana was abused as a child and ran away at 13 to go find her mother, who divorced her father when Riana was three. She found her mother at 14 and is currently living with her at the age of sixteen years old.

This is Poi. Poi is a twelve-year-old girl living with her foster parents in a mansion in Japan. Her mother died in childbirth, and her father was killed in a car accident. She was adopted by the Salenas and now enjoys soccer, horses, and is learning the English language.

Even though I don't know that much about anime, I really like looking at the awesome pages people have made displaying things like Sailor Moon, Ah! My Goddess, and Evangelion. So here are some links to some very cool anime pages.
