Since January of 1995, Kila School has had a computer lab. The lab is made up of seventeen 486 computers and one Pentium, 100 mhz, and 16 mb of ram by Caliber. Fifteen of the 486's are 66 Mhz, the other two are 100 Mhz. All of the 486's have 8 mb of ram. The pentium is our server.
The lab has made work much easier for the student body.
Here at Kila we lease the computers for six hundred sixty six dollars per month. We also installed a private line for our internet connection through Digisys and for our computer fax.
The computer lab has been enlarged approximately forty percent. The ceiling was lowered, and almost new carpet was installed. Almost all the labor and materials were donated.
