Currently here in grand Coteau we have 2 private and 1 private schools. The schools are both located in the heart of the town. Academy of the sacred heart the oldest of the three is an al girl school, while the other 2 schools Grand Coteau elementary and St Ignatius teach both boys and girls from 1^st to 6^th grades. Also St Ignatius has a kindergarten as part of their school. While, the academy of the sacred heart teaches students at the 7^th to 12^th grade level.
