| Rather than Elvis or Diana Ross and the Temptations, listeners tuning in to
KGEZ AM 600 will now be hearing the slightly more racy music of Limp Bizkit, Ozzy Osbourne
and The Bloodhound Gang.

New KGEZ owner, John Stokes, does a radio show
on Tuesday. Since buying the radio station that was once referred to as Classic 600, he
has changed the music from classic rock to alternative rock.

Survey assesses possibility for tech
education curriculum Superintendent
Harry Amend is testing waters on a proposal for tailoring vocational-tech education for
students not wanting to go on to college. The idea was tested on May 3, in a district-wide
survey.

need for such a plan."
The idea is to have a new combination
of classes offered as skills training. But before Amend pushes the idea any further, a
survey will be sent to all students either already in School District Five, or who will
enroll here some day.
"The survey will tell us if there
is even a demand for these classes," said Amend. "Students dont have to
plan their future now, but we want a rough idea of what path they plan on taking."
