Administrators try to get to the 'root' of the problembald_admins_scan.jpg (338269 bytes)

Living on the razor's edge.

For the FHS administration, that's how life is, with the senior class on the right track with no dropouts.

At the first senior assembly, all four FHS administrators agreed that if all 586 seniors currently enrolled graduate, all four members of the administrative team would shave their heads bald.

If there are any regrets, you won't find them at Flathead High School.

“I have no regrets at all,” said Activities Director Randy Russell. “In fact, I'm looking forward to seeing Mrs. Langohr's shiny top.”

“My opinion is it is a long shot, but I hope come June third, Mr. Fusaro has a buff shine on his head,” said vice principal Peter Fusaro.

“Actually, it was Mr. Hittle's idea,” said Principal Callie Langhor. “We felt as an administration team our message would be felt as a team effort. I think also we wish for Flathead to be a strong example, where everyone succeeds, nobody fails.”

“I think that in the three years I've been here, we're off to the best start,” said Fusaro. “I would be thrilled to death to shave my head, because we would know that every student who started their senior year overcame many obstacles in order to graduate.”

The administrative team is looking forward to meeting the razor head on; it's up to the senior class to do the rest.
