Braves deliver last-minute TD to defeat Hellgate
After a first game blowout against the Lethbridge Rams, the Hellgate Knights proved more of a challenge to the FHS Braves.

Bravettes blow past C. Falls
Led by seniors Darcy James and Jodi Hagestad, the FHS girls basketball team exploded for a 22-point third quarter to push past cross-valley rival Columbia Falls 61-43 in the home-opener Sept.. 12. 

Brief - Cross Country

Bravette runners sophomore Amber Arvidson (18:42) and junior Hanni Buettner (19:13) grabbed the top spots en route to a team victory on Sept. 13 at the Flathead Invitational.

Sophomore Kevin Clary (15:40) and junior Brett Winegar (15:44) took  third and fourth place for the Braves. Braves placed six of seven runners in the top 25 to take the team competition.

Brief - Soccer
The Braves and Bravettes improved their marks with shutouts over Hamilton on Sept. 13. The Braves won by a score of 11-0 to improve their mark to 3-0-0. The Bravettes reached the same mark with an 8-0 win.
