A walk on the wild side Big Creek, Mont., near the North Fork of the Flathead River is a unique area. It’s the only place in the lower 48 states where three predators — wolves, mountain lions and grizzly bears — live in the same area. And for two days, those predators were forced to live with another kind of wildlife: Flathead High School students. |

Well, maybe just ‘no’ desserts, say healthy students Not only are FHS students talking the talk about nutrition, they are walking the walk — as well as doing step aerobics and running obstacle courses. On April 24, the Health and Physical Activity Fair brought 260 rural elementary students to The Summit to teach the importance of healthy lifestyles. |
