Bravettes place first in Great Falls, Braves take second in Butte
Led by strong distance running, the Flathead Bravettes were victorious last Saturday at the Great Falls Optimist meet. Outscoring their nearest opponent by 23 points, the Bravettes, to reflect the name of the meet, were upbeat.

Butte’s ugly weather cuts golf meet short, costs Braves possible first place
The Braves golf team was within striking distance of winning on April 24, only two strokes behind Butte, when Mother Nature stepped in and forced the cancellation of the meet in Butte with threats of strong winds and snow.
