New tennis coach hopes to continue FHS's success on the hardcourts

Volleyball squad takes ninth in tournament
In the last major tournament before the state playoffs, the Bravettes volleyball team went 7-7 against a 16-team field in the Missoula County Public Schools Invitational volleyball tournament, Feb. 21 and 22.
After five years, Dennehy to leave FHS
After coaching in District 5 since 1992, Mark Dennehy plans to return to his roots in Butte for the 1997-98 school year. On Feb. 16, Dennehy agreed to become the head football coach at Butte High School if he's offfered a teaching job there.

FHS runners travel to Idaho for Simplot games
Six members of the Flathead track team dashed ahead of the competition by attending the Simplot indoor track games in Pocatello, Idaho, Feb. 13-15. According to those athletes, the games were a great way for the team to prepare to be successful.
