New shcedule heads to board, union

On Dec. 10, the department chairs passed a new schedule that will allow seven periods within a school day going from 8 a.m. to 3:30 in the afternoon. Students will be required to take six classes.

Choir extends holiday concert to two performances

The view of the choir may not have been great from the perspective of audience members who stood in the aisles, sat on the floor and crowded the foyer during the Oct. 29 choir concert. Due to the popularity of the choir, huge audience attendance at the fall concert led to two performances of the Christmas choir concert to help ensure that all audience members have seats.

Now, former FHS students may not have to wait for 10-, 20- or 30-year reunions to find out about their classmates. Thanks to an alumni registration recently added to The Arrow Online home page, Flathead alumni can have a class reunion of sorts every day.

A bottle is held motionless as a cork pops from its mouth and shoots through the air, leaving foam pouring from the bottle. It could be a scene at a party or a wedding reception- until you notice someone holding a measuring tape from the mouth of the bottle. This, it becomes plain, is more than a festive gathering. It's chemistry in action.

Video Annual goes ahead despite initial shortage of sales

Due largely to a lot of hard work and dedication by the video annual staff, the Yearlook Company has waved the contract sales-minimum requirements, giving them the go-ahead to produce FHS's first video yearbook.
