Naoko Takahashi, a Japanese hero for winning the Olympic marathon, says she got her boost from drinking the stomach juice of giant killer hornets. According to Olympic rules, because of the fact that the juice is all natural, it does not clash with laws concerning performance-enhancing drugs. The juice, which reduces muscle fatigue, can power a single bee to seek actively for food twice the distance of a marathon. An independent research facility in Japan has confirmed that it has a similar effect on humans.
Police officials said an unknown number of Kenyan students worked their way into the province of Madhya Pradesh, and beat up an elderly couple. The attack was apparently unprovoked. The naked Kenyans were pelted by stones and chased by an angry mob. The Indian mob chased down a Kenyan Commerce student, who was part of the group, and beat him to death.
The small Bangladeshi highway that runs through the village of Dargagate was blocked by a group of 35 elephants, who, according to reports, stepped on a man who tried to scare them away. Nurul Alam, a local laborer, was trampled by the unruly animals, after he attempted to scare them off the road. After firing shots and blowing trumpets, the villagers were finally able to drive away the animals after a three hour traffic jam.
A 30 year old Lebanese man was rushed into the Bekka Valley hospital, after choking on a swallowed piece of water pipe. After a thorough examination, doctor Jihad Disouqi determined that the man had swallowed 39 forks, knives, and spoons. According to the doctor, the man broke the silverware in to two pieces, and swallowed the pieces whole. He was placed under psychological watch after surgery was completed.
