Flathead teams hopeful as they
spring into sports season
This year Flathead's spring sports are definitely on the right track. Leading the way is the boys' track team. They are the defending state champions and have won the 1995, 1996 and 2000 state track titles.

Softball ready to bring home trophy

If you ever asked Gene Boyle, the principal of St. Matthews School, "what softball is," the girls softball coach would comment, "it is a hard nosed, get down and dirty, highly competitive sport."


Road to Minneapolis a familiar one
March is a time for warming weather, sunshine and the start of spring, but more important than all that, March is a time for the best and biggest basketball tournament of the year - the NCAA Tournament.
