teams hopeful as they
spring into sports season |

year Flathead's spring sports are definitely on the right track. Leading
the way is the boys' track team. They are the defending state champions
and have won the 1995, 1996 and 2000 state track titles. |

asked Gene Boyle, the principal of St. Matthews School, "what
softball is," the girls softball coach would comment, "it
is a hard nosed, get down and dirty, highly competitive sport."
