Entertainment Briefly Visited [ sources: hopsite.com, mrshowbiz.com ] KRS-ONE will release his 9th album, "The Sneak Attack" on Koch Records, on April 10, 2001. "The Sneak Attack will restore the focus of Hiphop Kulture," says KRS-ONE. "It will offer an alternative to the sometimes over-commercialized Rap product of today." As KRS-ONE puts it, "I don't perform solely for money, I only rhyme when its necessary, and it has become necessary " Pop diva Whitney Houston is awaiting final approval to be cast in the next Bond flick. There's no word on whether she'll play a good girl or a villain out to get 007. At least it isn't Britney Spears. Quentin Tarantino is reportedly returning to his best-loved films to resurrect John Travolta's Character in Pulp Fiction and Michael Madsen's Reservoir Dogs psycho. The film will be a prequel to both movies. That should be interesting to say the least. The Cannes Film Festival will open with its second musical premier in two years on May 9. The $50 million dollar musical called Moulin Rouge and is said to be an eccentric story about the life of Parisian artist Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec and his absinthe-drinking friends. Luhrman has called it "Rocky Horror meets Titanic." Swollen Members
to release three albums this year? Sort of, because they will rerelease
their debut album,"Balance", with all new cover artwork. Next
up will be their sophomore release,"Bad Dreams", and finally,
"Skeletons In the Closet", will also drop which will collect
all of Swollen's unreleased and hard to find tracks. |
