Despite cameras, thefts continue at FHS

   Unless you live in a locker room, you have probably noticed the security cameras strategically placed in the halls of FHS to protect personal safety and to prevent theft.
    But according to Wade Radamacher, school resource officer, the occurrence of theft is almost as often as last year.


Student council combats stereotype with hard work

   Following up on last year's slogan, "We actually do stuff," the FHS student council has been working hard and has already achieved many of their goals.

Policemen's Christmas dinner stolen
   
A locally supplied Christmas dinner of turkey and ham, for 500 policemen in Rio de Janeiro state was stolen last week. The truck carrying the food was hijacked on the way to the small town of Itaperuna. (more within story)

Students lend helping hands for the holidays

   Derek Ulvila and Ryan Saxby stand rigid in the blustering wind and snow. Their toes are numb, and they have heard enough country imitations of Christmas songs to last them a decade or two.

Local performers prepare for first night

   First Night Flathead festival, an alternative way to ring in the New Year, is presenting an array of visual and performing arts activites in the downtown Kalispell area December 31st.
