Eleventh Annual Matthew Quigley Buyffalo Rifle Match "The biggest rifle shooting event in Eastern Montana since the Custer Massacre"

Saturday, June 16, 10:00 AM and Sunday, June 17, 9:00 AM

INFORMATION: Any traditional single shot or lever action rifles, .375 or larger (No 1 Rugers ok, lever actions loaded single shot. Any cast bullet (gas checks ok) Any safe pwlder charce (Black or smokeless) Any metallic sights (no tube sights) No hooked but plates, palm rests or range finders. Same rifle to be shot throughtout the match.

MORE INFORMATION: Eight shotseach at three (3) of six (6) metal targets each day. Targets from 225 - 800 yds All shooting done from sitting cross-sticks position except 225 yard off-hand (total of 48 shots for score). Registration and sighting in on Friday, June 15th and prior to the shoot $15.00 shooting fee.

YET MORE INFORMATION: Shiloh Rifle Company will again donate a Sharps Rifle to be drawn for by the competitors. Must compete in the match and be present to win. Tom Selleck-autographed plaques to be presented to the top five shooters. B Class will be lower half of scopes. "Crazy Cora" plaques will go to the top lady shooter. "White Buffalo" award presented to the best shooter 72 and older. Prizes will go to the top scores with Lever-action, Ballard, Trapdoor rifles, and to the high couple. Top one-day shooter (Sunday only) will receive a prize. Ties are broken by most off-hand hits, then by most hits on longest target, then by shoot-off.

EVEN MORE INFORMATION: Bring enough ammo, lawn chairs, cross-sticks, sunscreen, spotting scopes, binoculars, etc. All spotting and coaching to be done by competitors. No beer or booze allowed on the property. Vendors welcome. Period clothing is requested, but not required. Boy Scouts in charge of Concessions. Beware of rattlesnakes.
