Facts About the Abib Calendar

The Ancient Hebrew Calendar with the original Sabbath placement according to Almighty God’s instructions given to Moses for the Israelite Nation, around the year 1500 BCE, commencing at the Exodus from Egypt. As Moses is a respected prophet of Christians, Muslims & Jews, this calendar is the common ground of them all and could become a worldwide instrument of peace.

Gives true meaning to the perpetual.
Deleted the pagan god name Tamus from the Jewish Calendar.
Includes 12 months, 365 days a year. No need to insert Veadar.
Solar- all dates in original placement from absolute equinox.
All dates- same day of the week each year- only in Abib calendar, not Gregorian.
For simplicity sake- referenced to Gregorian calendar.
Greek & Hebrew (Christian & Jewish) references to show accuracy and facilitate documentation.
Note- seasons are reversed (Passover September 29, 1998).

3 Bible Scriptures

John 11:5-16 states that during the night of the equinox, Jesus and his apostles walked to the home of Lazarus. (Equinox = 12 hours of daylight.)
John 12:1 states that Jesus arrived at the home of Lazarus 6 days before the Passover.
Leviticus 23:23-32 speaks about the Day of Atonement as being in the seventh month on the 9^th day at sunset and also it being a Sabbath.

Why not start this calendar in the Spring?

After the Babylonian conquest of Jerusalem (587 BC), the Jews adopted their captor’s calendar which started with Nisanu I, about spring equinox. Also they adopted Babylon’s months’ names which they continue to use. (1.Enclyclopedia Britanica 1981 pg600 vol#3)
For the counting of months, Nisan- the month that begins Spring- is considered first. However, the Jewish year is reckoned form the month of Tishri- the month that begins Autumn. This would seem to be the superimposition of one calendar system upon another, which took place during the Babylonian Exile (6^th pre-Christian Era). (2.Every Person's Guide to Judaism S.J. Einstein, L. Kukoff UAHC Press, N.Y. 1989)
If we start the calendar with the Spring Equinox (using the scriptures from above), The Day of Atonement does not fall on a Sabbath, and therefore, does not reflect the original calendar. So the Equinox mentioned by Jesus at John 11:5-16 was autumnal, which is historically correct (1,2) and produces an accurate calendar- begining in September.

A)Orgin: Gen. 2:3- "and God proceeded to bless the 7th day and make it scared, because on it he has been resting from all his work..."
B)Given to Jewish Nation: Exodus 20:8- "Remeber the Sabbath day to hold it sacred (1 of the 10 commandments)"
Exodus 31:13- "...Especially my Sabbatha you are to keep, for it is a sign between me and you during your generations that you may know that I am Jehovah sanctifying you. And you must keep the Sabbath, for it is something holy to you. A profaner of it will positively be put to death..."
C)Still Kept After the death of Jesus: Luke 23:56- "...But, of coarse, they rested on the Sabbath according to the commandment."
D)The Sabbath, as well as gods laws, are given to all peace-loving people worldwide today: (12)

Bible Scripture Romans 2: 12-16

12. All those who sinned without law will also perish without law; but all those who sinned under law will be judged by law.

13. For the hearers of the law are not the ones righteous before god, but the doers of the law will be declared righteous.

14. For whenever people of the nations that do not have law do by nature the things of the law, these people, although not having law, are a law to themselves.

15. They are the very ones who demonstrate the matter of the law to be written in their hearts, while their conscience is bearing witness with them and between their own thoughts, they are being accused or even excused.

16. This will be the day when God through Chris Jesus judges the secret things of mankind.
